Wanted to do a quick post about this while it is on my mind...
Our poodle is prone to ear infections. So over the years we
have used some different medications. A couple of them had disturbing results.
Granted – our little guy seems to have unusual reactions to
things – like vaccines. And he has more than his share of ailments. And he’s
old. But I thought some warnings were in order.
Mometomax – caused temporary deafness that lasted approximately
two weeks to a month in duration.
Posatex – made him permanently deaf.
Because of our experience, I would recommend avoiding Posatex
if at all possible.
Just thought I'd put this info out there so others could benefit.
